Petcock off a GS1000 for a GS1100
I know this petcock will fit. My question is, is the value function necessary? My last petcock on my GS1100 didnt have a res-on-pri valve, but the one I bought off ebay (off a GS1000) does. However, it doesnt work and I just want to get my bike running. The vaccuum port in the back looks capped off too. I know this isnt right, but again I just wanna get back on the road. Will this petcock work?

If it doesn't work.... no1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

Just make sure that if it's the petcock with the lever for on/res/prime that it will clear the tops of your CV carbs.
