    High tack gasket spray

How does everyone feel about using high tack gasket sprays on the base gasket of an '81 gs850g?

I use Gasgacinch & nothing else. I know some guys that swear by Coppercoat but I have NEVER had a leak with Gasgacinch. Not ever a leak! Ray.

He probably doesn't leave them on years. - yours might be difficult. You can always whack the jugs though to break it loose.

Hey, but I don't have leaks on base gaskets either, and I only use a light coating of oil.

Ray I think he is asking if you use Gasgacinch on OEM type fiber base gaskets. Ray have you talked to Glenn about his LC issue ? Says he has it worked out. Later buddy.
