M14x1.25 oversize drain plug = unicorn

    Does not exist.
"You want a 14x1.5, buddy? Cause I got like, 6 of them"

Should I just glue it for now and then get it drilled & tapped for 16x1.5 this winter, or what?

So I looked all over town looking for a rubber plug to fit- nada. I eventually went with a 5/8" plug and used a dremel to bring it down near 14mm. No leaking.. yet..

Where are you people with your 14mm this-and-that? Around here, most auto shops have 1 or 2 rubber drain plugs in english sizes only. I didn't have much luck online, either. Maybe I'm just using the wrong search terms
