    Bandit 1200 Master Clinder on a 82'GS1100E

Does anyone know if a Bandit 1200 Front Master Clinder will bolt up and work on an 82'GS1100E, I checked some threads but didn't find much, my front master is shot and I have access to a cheap fr. master cylinder from a bandit (01'), and would rather swap it, then rebuild mine which is in rough shape. Anyone do this or have any info on the subject???

It will work fine on a double front disk set up. Dont use it if your bike has a single front disk.

Ok earl, i will give it a shot, my GS1100E has dual disks and calipers on the front, along with that anti dive set-up---hope it works out--saves me time to ride!!

I've already done it. That was not a guess.

How do you like that Corbin seat on the "E"?

Earl, it will work on a single disc setup also but will just be weaker in braking power. Ray.

Hey I gotta be honest, I'm 6" 1', 230 lbs, and after about 1 hour on the Corbin--my ass needs a beer break, however the stock is sooooo...., much more comfortable for the long rides, I feel the Corbin's low center of gravity helps you ride if you want to be aggressive....get one used ....dont spend the full amount on a new one---

I'm 5'11" and 240 (now) and haven't had a problem with the stock seat, but have seen quite a few Corbins lately.
