    Air/fuel mixture

I just got done cleaning out my carbs and am wondering what I should set my air/fuel screws at...Its a 1982 Gs650G all stock, except for a kerker 4 into 1 exhaust. I thought I remember reading it was either 1.5 or 2.0 turns out, not sure though...

Before bothering with the mixture screws, how did you clean the carbs?

Have you changed the main jets?

    Did you shim the needles?

Get those taken care of, then you can set the mixture screws between 2 and 3 turns out, then fine-tune from there.

Everything is set, I am just wondering where I should start, I guess 2 turns out is as good as any then.

2-2.5 turns is your starting point........
