will an 81 gs750e tank fit my 82 750e?

Title pretty well says it all. :-) I found a body kit (tail, sides, tank, everything) from an 80-81 gs 750e. Will it all fit my 82 750e?

do they look the same? the mounts should be the same

I haven't done a side-by-side on them, but everything looks pretty much ID best I can tell, except the headlight, of course (going from the round chrome to the square).

Guess I'll go pick it up and slap a coat of paint on there. I'll probably have a rattle can story to post soon. LOL.

Don't trash (by that I mean toss) that magnificent rectangular headlight now ..
