Coils for 1980 GS850G

On a trip to northern Ontario I had to replace the coil for 1 & 4 Cylinders. The problem was I could not get one. The closest coil was in Vancouver BC.
I was without my bike for over a week.
My question is can I use a coil from a Honda with a similar Engine and electronics. The Suzuki Coil cost me $186.00 Plus taxes and a after market coil for the Honda is around $46.00 before taxes

The only necisity is that you use 3 ohm coils, otherwise if you can get it to fit it should work

I have had 2 of these in my bike (GS850) for 2-1/2 years now, they work great.
