I have that problem any time I am directed to Webshots.

Photobucket may not be perfect (or is that purr-fect? ), but there don't seem to be any ads there.

I figured out where everything goes except for the front hose (hose facing the front of the bike). Any clues?

So I guess the front part doesn't require a hose, however now I have a massive gas leak, which looks like it is coming from the #3 carb. The leak starts with the tank on prime, and also when the bike is being started with the fuel selector on the normal setting. I think it may be a cracked carb bowl gasket...

However, I did hear it run for about 15 secs, so it does work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    3 hoses

Ok...the hose on the right side of the tank isn't a fuel line. That one is just a drain for the fuel gage sending unit. In case that seal leaks fuel won't run down onto the engine. That line doesn't connect to anything but hangs down behind the engine.

On the left side is the petcock. One line (smaller of the two) is the vacuum. It connects to a nipple on the #2 carb. It's that vacuum that allows the fuel to flow when the engine is running. Fuel should never flow through that line. Only air.

The bigger of the two on the petcock connects to the fuel supply inlet on the carbs. This it a small pipe between the #2 and 3 carbs. Be sure you connect to the supply in the middle. There are vent/overflow drains between 1 & 2 and between 3 & 4. These just go over the air box and connect to nothing.

Its all put back together now and it runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took it for a spin, which left me with a question...

My idle when I first start it with full choke is around 2k-3k, not bad. As the bike warms the idle increases so I lower the choke, the bikes rpm drops accordingly. However, after the bikes choke is all the way in, it continues to climb and stays at about 4,000 rpms. I if I put the choke on it increases even more. This leads me to believe its receiving to much fuel. Now for the question...

If the bike is getting to much fuel, could it be that the air/fuel mixture screws are set to far out? I think I have them all set at 2.0, should I turn it down to 1.5? The bike is all stock with a 4-1 kerker exhaust. Also, could it be my idle knob is turned to much? Which way to lower it, and I thought it only controlled one carb anyways...??? The carbs where all bech synched, so I know its going to run rough, but jesus its way off. When I bench synched my katana's carbs it was harldy off when I used my carbtune pro.
