    Carb Sync Tools

Can anyone let me know where I can get a hold of some fittings to connect the manometer to the vacuum ports. According to Clymer they are 4mm but I think they are a 5mm thread

You can buy them from Z1 enterprises or make them from some thick walled brass or aluminum tube. You will need the right size die so you can thread the pieces of tube.

Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.

Yes, they are 5mm. You can get the accessory fittings from Motion Pro at Z1 Enterprises or get the ones from TecMate.

It's easy to make your own. Dril down though a screw and epoxy in some tubing.

Well thanks Bill...sort ah. Some people pay money for simple things like sync port adapters and straightening cranks, I do my own.

I can't fix a twisted crank Josh, but was able to take out some excess runout with a few strategic hammer blows on my 1000 crank... http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=136420 Bill was either impressed with my ingenuity or shocked over such a barbaric methods, still not sure which.

                      Home made adapters

Hey thanks for the advice on the home made adapters. I don't have a drill press at home and tried to drill out a metric ss fastener but broke two drill bits. I can do it in the shop at work though. Thanks

Stainless is hard to drill. Carbon steel seems to drill much easier.
