Plug Gap Question with link to pic.

    Hi all,

Just pulled my plugs for the first time since getting the bike. Bike was running okay but I was curious. Found that three plugs look okay, but this one looks like a pretty tight gap.

Any thoughts on what might have caused this? My initial thought was that the plugs are too long, but the other three are fine. Something in the chamber perhaps, or the PO dropped it while installing it? Or is this just something that can happen from normal wear and heat build up?

    Cheers,
    Greg

Regap it, run the motor and see if the gap changes.

Half way between a smig and a scoch... If you need a better answer, better crack your service manual or download one for free from Basscliff's site (do a search if you don't know who Cliff is).
