    Brakes conversion!!!

I'm planning on converting my gs250 from a rear drum brake to a disc brake conversion. i still don't know much so i'm asking whomever...what parts would i need to get from whichever bike or bikes to be able to do this conversion. thanks everybody

    A new bike.

Seriously. The work involved vastly outweighs the benifits. You will have to find a swingarm that will WORK on that bike, PRIOR to going any farther.

Don;t bother... rear is only limited braking capacity, drum is more than capable. Concentrate on upgrading the front, that's where you need the power.

Honda nighthawks (Cb's) used drums on there larger models right up till about 2000. I think they still use them on the smaller models today.

I agree - don't bother. My old GSX250 would lock up way too easily with just the rear drum.
