gs 300L help - bogging down

    Hey,

so i originally thought this was a carb problem but, the bike used to run perfect in first and second but would bog down in 3rd, 4th, and higher, and i fixed that problem by setting the petcock to prime and then back to on before starting the bike, but now, it starts bogging down in first gear itself, any suggestions, also an occasional backfire comes up and it didn't do that before. I think im just gonna put some sea foam in the gas, and hopefully thatll solve it. but otherwise i dont know what could be wrong

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Have you changed the carb boot O rings yet? Cures many problems.

yeah, i tried that and i didnt; see any improvement yesterday. So what i did was i put some sea foam in the tank, and let the bike idle for about 8 minutes, with the occasional revving. Then i took it for a drive (never set it to prime after sea foam). and it ran perfectly!! This morning, i checked the bike and the overflow thats connected to the airbox was leaking a lot of stuff on my garage floor, does any1 know the reason for this, or how i can fix it???????

        Thanks
