    Front sprocket nut

    Hi guys,

I've just brought a chain and sprocket set for the '86 GSX400E. I would need to know before I start dismantling the whole bike to get to the front sprocket nut, what size the nut is. I'm sure its bigger than my biggest socket, so will have to buy one. Anyone know for sure the size?

    Thanks!

Mine was a 32 mm. I used my impact/air driver and zoom, it was off.

Works best if your bike is in gear.

And while you're out, get some loctite. BLUE, (DO NOT use red, you'll hate yourself later)

Thanks for that, will get the socket today. I'm already hating Suzuki for their lack of thought. I can't imagine how much i'd pay a dealer to change the sprockets, but i'm sure it would be a crazy amount considering how much of the bike I have to take apart just to get to the sprocket
