    BTW regarding bad/corroded connectors. There was an article in MCN last year about that very subject where they found that the increased resistance/voltage drop from corroded connectors was not all that significant vs new/clean connectors. I don't recall though if they tested for a "series" of bad/corroded connectors though. The conclusion was the cleaner the better.

                First let's see how this award was achieved...

                After many hours of work repalcing various electrical components and then carefully putting the motorcycle back together...

                So I get a chance to take a closer look today and find that the bolts for both... yes I said both... battery terminals were less than optimally fastened.

                Thererfore I nominate and award myself the Pillock of the Month
