    Calling from Sweden about handlebars

Hello guys and girls,I am a proud owner of a GSX 750 ES,Same as GS 750 ESD.
I wonder where i can get a adapter so i can get rid of my original handlebars and use a traditional handlebar.I now have the original clipon style ,One bracket attached in the triple tree and a tube attached in the bracket.I have seen some pictures of adapters. Please adwise me.Sorry for my poor english spelling.

    Greetings, Tompasio, and .

Not sure about using adapters, you may have to change the triple tree to one that holds the handlebars you want.

Oh, and don't worry about your 'poor english spelling'. I wish more Americans could spell as well as you do.

Especially the Americans on this forum...

Where in Sverige do you live? My wife and I have relatives in Uppsala and Harnösand.

      Hejdå!

What Steve said. As far as I know, the top tripple is different for the clip on's and just drilling a few holes through it to make something else fit, would not be MY first choice.

        Welcome to the GSR!!

          Hej!

Hur mår du? Jag ville hjälp, men min Svenska ar inte bra.

          So English it is.

I believe your option involves drilling into the triple tree and bolting clamps directly to it. A lot of people have done that to bikes with clip-ons when converting them to street-fighters.

And just for the hell of it, here's a picture of a GS I saw when I was in Sweden last, in Åhus, if I remember correctly.

Ah yes. I was in Kristianstad off and on for about 8 months in 2007/8, splitting my time between there and the US.
