gs550 starting problem

hi
started up my gs 550 the other day(not run for a few years)
it started but not runnin to smooth.
then went to start it today and now won't start at all.
the battery is fully charged,the engine is turnin over sweet,there is compresion and spark on all 4 "holes" but the plugs are all coming out dry
ive even tried using easy start but wont make a difference.
ive got a few ideas but a fresh opinion would be great.

But you said that using easy start did absolutely nothing? or just made it fire off for a second? If it did nothing, than suspect an ignition problem. Loose wires, corroded connections, ignitor, plugs, wires, coils, etc. Do the usual, check for spark, chcek for good fuel flow to the carbs from tank.

Check the petcock and the fuel and vacuum lines. See if there are critters living in your air filter.
