    Tach cable

My tach cable broke but the hose is still good. I bought a new one on ebay and its much to long. and the hose that came with it is to small the thread into the engine side. I can make the new one work if there is a way to cut it and square of the end. can I do that? and if so how? if that wont work any other Ideas. thanks. All the best.

          If it's a G go here and ask for a number 38

If it's a GL go here and ask for a number 46

          I bet that'll fit.
It's smoke that make electronic components work.
Every time I've let the smoke out by mistake, they never work again.
