spark plugs and wires reconmendations

Hey everyone, I am looking to replace my spark plugs and wires on my 79 GS550E Does anyone have any reconmendations? The only mods I have done is dynatek electronic igniton.

if you are talking about your factory coils...
the wires dont come off.
if you go with dyna coils...
no problem.
the dyna wires are suppression core and has to be make to fits.
these are sold seperatly.

Thanks, I had no idea that I had to replace the coils too1! I guess I will save my nickles and get them too.

NGK makes splices for coil wires. Cut off your old ones within an inch or two of the coils and attach some fresh wires.

Seems your bike would take the NGK B8ES.

It is possible to take the spark plug wires out of the stock coils, if you're careful, and then replace them with off-the-shelf parts. You'll have to search the forum, sorry.
