Cylinder leak down testing

So if I read some of this info right, the fact that I have 95 psi in one of my cylinders, and 130 is the highest of the four, I have serious issues to contend with?

yea theres a small percentage ratio that your allowed to be off in each thats all, or they wont run right,or perform right together,and cause drag ect.. on the other cylinders

Well at any rate, I did score 850 jugs and pistons for a swap that will be a winter project. I suspect an exhaust leak in #3, as sync readings there where low, and that is the 95psi cylinder. I'll find out this winter

i had to come back here and read this one more time just to prove it to myself.

it was not a dream...
i think ill grab a can of air freshener and go do a link down test..
that should be enough pressure to check my rings and valves and such for leakage.

Sync readings were low??? Exhaust valve leak??? Lemme ask you this... when you synced the carbs, did you plug the vaccum feed line for the petcock on carb number 3?? If you didnt, its gonna suck air thru that line, hence your low reading.

Good point. Is that vac point drawl the same as the vent hoses? As I don't have a vac petcock, all three are vented. I was thinking OEM configuration was for the left-hand most vac line went to the petcock, and the two on the right vented over the back of the airbox. I was also thinking carbs are referred to as 1 2 3 4, from left to right. If not, then I'm bass-ackwarded. At any rate, if the petcock port is using a different circuit in the carb, then it should remain pluged if using other than a vac petcock, correct? Also, low (95psi) in #3, so it could be either valve might have a leak,right? I don't know, that's why I ask. I will be doing a leak-down this week for more info. At least it runs well.
