    Simple(?) Battery Question

I'm aware of what the numbers on a battery stand for, that much I'm okay with. What I'm curious about is, whats wrong with installing a battery with a greater amp hr rating than specified if it will fit in the battery box and the terminals are in the right location?
This crossed my mind because my GT750 needs a new battery. The battery from my 1100G fits in the box and the terminals line up but the amp hr rating is higher than is speced for the GT. I'd rather put a new battery in my G and install the hand me down battery in the Buffalo. Anybody see anything to be concerned about?
    I'm more curious than anything.
    Thanks,
    Willie
Common sense has become so uncommon that I consider it a super power.

    Shouldn't hurt a thing.
It is just a higher capacity battery.

Won't hurt a thing. Put a car battery in there, as long as it's 12V.
