purchasing ss brake lines, one Q. about length...

So I running towards my deadline finishing my bike at the machine shop (has to be out by labor day, but I leave in 3 days...)

I'm buying new SS front brake lines as well as superbike bars, should be a vast improvement over the stock L setup. My question is how long should the top brake line be to the new, lower superbike bar? Anyone out there that can get me an approx length of the brake line that runs from the master cylinder on a superbike handlebar to the split?

Also, would it be worth buying new ss lines for the rear brake? I'd like to keep the metal brake line that runs along the swingarm, and there's only a couple inches on either side...

    any help appreciated

Redundant post, My bad... Just calculated the cost of SS brake line conversion and it would cost me around $200 from Z1 Enterprises. Hmm, purchase SS brake lines or get a Fluid Mechanics textbook? decisions you make in college... Maybe something I can look into for the next riding season

You can get 1 x 31" line & a shorter one to loop over from one caliper to the other (I guess around 12" but you'll need to measure that one...)

Run the long one direct to right caliper, use the double banjo on the caliper & loop the short one over the fender. Prob cost you about $60 from Z1 that way. Get a secondhand textbook....

$200 sounds steep. You can get Earl's parts for both front and rear for about half that.

        To measure is to know.
