4-1 exhaust

hey everybody. im a 1st timer here. can any1 tell me if a 4-1 for 77-79 gs550 fit on 81 gs550? thanks for any help!

According to denniskirk.com the two models have different part numbers so just from that I would say no but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in with the exact answer.

I've got a 78 GS550E, and used to have a 81 GS550L. The difference is going to be in the mounting lug on the megaphone. The 78 had a traditional welded nut below the passenger footrest, while the L had the chrome bracketry that held the exhaust mount. Not positive of dimensional difference, but from my old pics the location of the megaphone attach point appears different. Pretty much the same other than that.
