Whats a good way to remove baffle?
Trying to get it out to put in some fiberglass packing. I tried tapping on the other end to try and get it out to no success and tried pulling with some pliers on the other end.Tags: None

What type of muffler are you trying to take apart? If you have stock mufflers I beleive the only way into them is to cut them.

It's mac exhaust I think that's a kerker copy. The baffle is tight in there, but I know it's removable.

I have a MAC, and after removing the bolt, you need to slide something with a hook or bend in it, and yank out the baffle. I believe its around 8" long. I used a slide hammer, but a piece of round stock with a small 90 deg at the end will do. It takes a bit of banging if it's never been out, but it should come out pretty easy. The innards aren't extremely fragile, so you shouldn't hurt anything.
good luck!
