    ITs not a mod... If kitten tooth here is talking about twin carbs like on the 400/450/300, they came from the factory that way...like the OLD VMs used to have a choke lever on the carbs..

    HOWEVER, it wouldnt be tough to mod the choke like that though..simly yank a "knob" off an old choke cable...and JB weld the hell out of it on the end of the choke actuater arm... Done..

      Yea it does look like part of a rachet I totally had one stop working and it fell apart. Thanks for jogging my memory. LOL

            I am aware that the 300L used the choke knob at the carbs. What I was inquiring about has anyone done this on the gs bikes with the inline 4?

              I haven't, tho like I said, from looking at it, it looks like it would be a 10 minute job to do it... Im half tempted, actually, to do it to my 1000G. Those stupid "stem" style choke cables are JUNK! Brand new OEM one jammed up solid after about 4-5 uses.. Only thing that would prevent me from doing it is WTF am i gonna do with the ugly hole left in the top clamp after removing it?? I guess i could put a "facade" cable in there just to make it LOOK like stock..
