    Not sure what HS is, but I don't work there. And the 1100 in that gallery pic is highly modified. Would love to have those forks!

      ALL US-SPEC GS1100E SOLD IN THE US IN 80-81 HAVE THE RECTAGULAR HEADLIGHT!!!

      I f you see one that has a round headlight it was modied by the (one of) the owner(s).

        They had leading axle forks because they had the external damping adjusting collars on the lower end of the sliders.

          Got it, thanks...

          Now to concentrate on getting it running, and finding all the screw-ups from the PO's !!

          Already found a cracked frame under the sidestand mount... I'm thinking I can weld that, perhaps with a stiffener, we'll see.
