We'll see what everyone els has to say about this but I had an issue with two cylinders not firing and it turned out to be the carbs.
Had fire, compression... Pipes were cold.
The bike started and idled pretty good too, seemed to run smooth till ya got it out on the road, no power..

This was before the carb and jet rebuild. Runs like a top now. All pipes are within 20-30 degrees of each other.

Well I pulled the valve cover last night and some valves were loose, but not real bad. I started the bike, and the cylinder was still dead. I sprayed a quick blast of starter fluid on the pod of the dead cylinder, and it fired, but just as long as there was starter fluid.

Tonight I will get the jet #'s. Been real busy

Pull the plug and put a few drops of gas in the failing cylinder.
Put the plug back in and fire it up. Dollars to donuts it fires. Be sure the plug is clean, or better yet new.
        What cylinder is it??

It is #2 that is bad. I took the carb off at lunch and checked # 2's float bowl. I remeber I had one float needle seat that got a lil bent when pulling it out for the dip. I checked and it was #2's carb. I thought it would be fine, cause the needle still went in the seat, but it would stick if it twisted. So today I fixed it sanded it with a file, so to make it smooth again. And now the needle moves freely inside it. I am pretty sure that was the prob will post tonight when I re-install.

            HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!'

            that was it!!

I just got back from a ride. And it is sooo much better.

            Now the Jet #'s are

            112.5
            42.5
and the float seat said 2.0

So it looks like I will be ordering a jet kit.

Thanks again guys, even though there was miscommunication, especially on my end, and if I offended anyone I appologize for that.
I just hope this did not stop anyone from offering help now or ever again.

              Those darn pesky carbs!!!

They're a lot more touchy than some folk realize.
The best thing is to not give up!

How in the world did you bend it?

Do a search and talk to the carb guys, they may be able to give you some tips on the jetting without spending a buncha coin.

Listen to what they have to say dude, lots of knowledge about these ols bikes around these here parts.

When I went to dunk it, I had to pull it out, well in the directions it said to use pliers to pull it out. The others came out easy, but this one was stuck and I guess it bent when I pulled it out.
