GS 1000 E vs GS1000 L
Do both bikes use the same frame? Could you swap body parts from one to the other? Could you put an E tank on an L frame???Tags: None

No.
No.
And no.
At least not without modifications.
E is a standard/sportbike. L is a cruiser. Totally different styles.

Re: GS 1000 E vs GS1000 L
The main frame dimensions are the same, but the tank and seat mounts will not be in the same location between the two models, so it would not be a bolt in swap. However, if you have a mig welder and can do a little fabrication, then it isnt a big problem to mount a E syle tank and seat to a L style bike.

I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself than be crowded on a velvet cushion. H.D.T.
