If I was you, I'd ask if there is anyone near you who can come over and help you clean your carbs. At least just pull the rack and clean the jets in #2. It's not that hard really and it's easiest to have someone there who knows what they are doing and can show you. There is a really good write up on bikecliff's website about how to clean them though.

Later I did note they were "flat slides" but I do need to learn the model number as I think it is still not very descriptive (and I now upon closer inspection I should soon replace the intake boots so I better find out soon).
I remember I think someone calling them "RS flat slides" when I started a thread on them many months ago but that is all I know. I still need to find out what size.

Also need to find some intake boots before I bother and find out what other parts I might need for a rebuild before I take her apart...
