What's wrong with your current oil pump? Suzuki's oil pumps are very robust and rarely wear - the service manual shows you how to check. I have a spare used pump from a GS1000, which is the same part number as the 850 pump, in case you are interested.Last edited by Nessism; 10-11-2009, 11:52 PM.Ed

Yours probably works fine, but you could just drop in a used one in better shape. I've never seen any visible wear at all in GS850 oil pumps. The low-pressure oiling system in these engines isn't extremely finicky.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
