    maybe a stupid question...

    ... but how do i get the starter motor out of this thing? I have the cover off, and one of the two screws out. The one closest to the engine is just in such a place that I can't seem to get it out. help!

    You using a 1/4 drive ratchet and a shorty extension? Or a deep socket?

      yeah i am using the 1/4 drive. I don't have the extension. I'll run out and grab one.

        With the 550 you may have to remove the carbs

            And prepare to wish you had enough money to put pods on those carbs by the time you get them re-installed.

              But with pods, he will have to take the carbs off a few more times to get the jetting right.

              True, it will be easier, but with the stock airbox, he only has to put them on ONCE.

              Not to mention the fact that he will have to buy the pods and jets, while he already has the stock airbox.
