Just as an example: Part #5, part# 61372-45102, $23.20 from Alpha, but they are usually the most expensive.
(It's found on the Rear Swinging Arm fiche.)

Welcome to TheGSR.
I took a quick look at Alpha-Sport site.
(other folks have recommeded Alpha-Sport, so I tried it. Nice site, and look like Suzuki part numbers.)
GS850GN
On the page for "rear swing arm"
Part# 61372-45102Desc BOOT PROPELLERUSD Price 23.20Quantity
There is also a oring seal you will probably want to get also. And maybe the clamp.
<<<Later Note: Opps. Steve beat me to it.>>>>

You only need the boot...The clamp can be reused, the referenced O ring?? is a spring clamp also reusable

PLEASE NOTE, however, that usually the only recommendation for Alpha-Sports is because of the ease of their website. Not sure why, but they seem to have the highest prices.
Example, for that same boot:
Alpha $23.20
Babbitts $15.47
Bike Bandit $19.34
Carolina Cycle $16.07
Full Throttle $17.02
There may be others, these are only the ones on my list.

Go to www.partshark.com and look up the part.
$15.72 for the boot. I've bought several parts for my 79 850 from them. Some of the best prices and good turn around time on shipping.

I repaired a couple of holes in the boot on my bike a couple of years back with Shoe Goo -- didn't feel like waiting for a new one to show up.
It's still holding up just fine!
If yours is falling apart, a new one is obviously not all that expensive -- just a royal pain to install.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
