    Wheel stand supports

I need to drill and tap some 3/8in holes for wheel stand supports.

The pic shows two potential locations on the swingarm.

Does anyone see any concerns for structural integrity afterwards.

Is an adjustable swingarm stand that doesn't use spools not an option for you?

I got one for TCK just recently and we like it a lot.

structuraly, no probs. problem is if you use position A you may compromise wheel nut removal.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

Assuming A and B are both into solid aluminum then B is much stronger. I would be concerned about A breaking out the bottom of the fork.

There are stands available that use small adapters, to lift the bike by the bottom of the swing arm itself. I'll be looking for one of these myself, in a few weeks, rather than drill/tap the arm. I'll post the info if I find it, though you may as well proceed if you've already bought a spool-specific stand.
