What is this Fork and Brakes? what are they from?

I bought a 78 Gs 750 last summer and I have the impression that the
fork is not stock. Only problem I have no idea what it is from. What year or make. Same with the brakes. I will have to change the seals on the forks and also the brake pads pretty soon. Does any one know what fork and calipers I have on my bike.

    1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

Those triple clamps and bars are Katana items.
Could be an entire Katana 1100 front end. Except for the wheel and fender. Unless they are Aussie spec spoke wheels.
Did Canada get any Katanas with spoked wheels?

Regarding the calipers, there are only three different type on GS's and it looks like yours are the later ones. Pull out a pad and match them up with photos on ebay.

            Thanks Guys,

            Hypothesis:
So If I am getting it right, One of the old owners would have change the front to gs1100 katana. Would have modified a stock gs750 wheel to have the 82-83 disks. and would have put the new setup with out the anti dive feature and with 78 caps instead of 82-83 to keep the original speedo cable?

The forks are missing the damping adjust like the 82-83 GS1100E has so maybe complete Kat front fork assy.

anti Dive and cap holding Axle

I am wondering is it safe to drive around without the anti dive system.
as I can see the last owner took the small break line off and the top of the front cyliner (on the front of the fork). I am just wondering If fluid could come out of that cylinder from the inside of the fork.

Also, I am now wondering if the reason the cap holding the axle and speedo
                sensor is off because:
A- speedo sensor size might be different from 78 GS to 83 katana
b- Axle might be different in size and lenght.

Do you guys know the axle size or speedo size, are they interchangebale?
