Maybe this kind of info should be put in the KEEPERS section so others can juyst reference it and save a few bucks and time in searching all corners of humanity looking for stuff....just thinking aloud here!!!MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Cool Cliff..I hadnt had need of the site in quite some time to have seen it..not that i was saying you had disregarded it.. Was more making the point ( as has been made to me ) to use the search mode and to read everythng in that post because somewhere someone had already addressed this. Manuals seem to be a hot topic for sure..By the way I hadnt heard much about Jessie since you guy took the sledge to the frame..How is she and how are you doing??MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Boy am I bummed. Tried the number this morning but it now seems to be automated and I couldn't get a live body. I don't know if that's because i'm calling from the frozen white north or not but I suspect if I did get through they wouldn't help me anyway as the center is Suzuki U.S. . Everytime I call down there to a major corporation, they give me the, sorry can't help you" heave ho.
I did try to contact Suzuki Canada but its only be e-mail so I'll need to see what happens.

Well I tried again and did get a live body this time but imagine my surprise when I find the phone is answered from a call center in .....India....not Indiana......India as in the subcontinent.
Absolutely no help, so I'll wait and see what suzuki Canada might be able to do.
I was actually quite funny because the guy referred me to this site: http://www.suzukicycles.org/All-Suzu...ki_models.html saying that they had more complete information. A bit odd that Suzuki would refer you to someones private site I thought.
The world is getting weird I tell ya. Maybe 2012 will be the end after all
Cheers,

Hi,
Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see! (j/k)
I guess you just have to massage the phone tree properly.
Thank you for your indulgence,
