    Magneto Puller?

So I ordered a magneto puller from Bike Bandit...did some research before hand and I found the thread size to be 16mm x 1.5 RH I got the puller and its too big and doesnt fit...is their a special size for that? if anyone could direct me to a part# and place to get one through I'd appreciate it..Thanks.

750 uses a smaller size that just happens to be the exact size of the swing arm bolt..

I did try that before i ordered the puller...after standing and staring at stuff in my shop for an hour wondering what I could use..problem is the threads are too short so it doesnt press on the crank to pull the mag off..I'll have to bring my thread gauge home from work tomorrow and see exactly what size it is...another set back...thanks for the reply.

Put a 3" long 1/4 drive ratchet extension in the hole and then put the bolt in.
Or a small bolt & washer.. anything to add a little space for the bolt to push on.

          Yep +1 ^^^

I used an M6 allen bolt (about 3" long) for the rotor on my 450. Tighten the swingarm / axle bolt onto it and tap the end with a hammer. It'll pop off

And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....
