oxidation under ignition cover
I am adjusting the valve clearances and found the gasket under the side cover was bad. I found light oxyidation near the pick up,can I spray electrical cleaner on all the parts without taking them apart, any other ideas on cleaning it or is it even neccesary, it looks like everything is sealed. I am making a new gasket for the cover. I don't want to cause any damage to the electrical stuff, so I thought it best to ask.Tags: None

will have to wait until morning for a picture. That is what it looks like but It looks like a galvanised piece of metal. I got side tracked working on 17 year old daughters car, amazing what brake shoes look like when they have been eating the rotor. only 2 rotors ,2 calipers,1 set of pads.60. all together. almost forgot 20. for plug wires.PO put cut them and crimp them yourself wires on, car was running bad.Maybe I will get battery cables put on my truck tomorrow, nothing like laying in the snow working on something.
