Do you mean the "desktop" of your computer? If so, find the photo and right click on it and click "set as desktop background or wallpaper"Ed
To measure is to know.

Hi Mr. JAYD,
First of all, let's get some terminology straight and find out exactly what is is you are trying to do.
Download = transfer a file from the internet, or other network server, to the hard drive on your computer.
Homepage = usually refers to the "start page" that opens when you launch your internet browser. Could be used to refer to the main page of a website.
Are you trying to "upload" (from your computer to a network or internet server) a picture of your bike to your account's photo album here on the GS Resources website?
Are you able to transfer the pictures from the camera to your computer? Can you scan a picture to your computer?
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff

Thanx for the info Basscliff, I saw your web instructions, just one question, it shows how to upload pics to a post, but I also want to upload to my info page. Is this the same procedure? And, yes, I can transfer pics to my computer,I have them now on Webshots but I like your idea of photobucket better.Last edited by Guest; 01-01-2010, 12:00 PM.

Hi Mr. JAYD,
If you'd like to upload pictures to your GSR account gallery, you do so directly instead of posting a link to a picture hosting site.
Once you are logged into GSR...
1) Click the "User CP" in the upper left corner of your screen.
2) Click "Pictures and Albums" in the right margin.
3) Click "Add Album".
4) Type a name for the album and a description, if desired.
5) Click "Submit".
6) Click "Upload pictures".
7) Click the "Browse" button(s) and navigate to the picture(s) you wish to upload to your GSR album.
Note: Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within the size constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it with a third party utility. I like Irfanview.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
