What do you think?
Well, i posted an add on craigslist not to long ago for siouxcity. "WTB a good bike" Got a whole bunch of emails the first day. Yamaha 920, KZ650 CSR, XS1100, ZX750 ninja, and a 1982 GS1100G all for 650 dollars except for the KZ650, the XS1100 and the ninja. The GS1100G is the one that made my jaw drop. He wants 650 dollars for it. Its CLEAN! http://photos.msn.com/Slideshow/View...24%26index%3d0

Can't see your pics, is it nice? Act quickly, it won't be there long if it is good.
At that price even if it has a major flaw like a burned up engine you can still get your money out of it in parts, you can't really lose. Chances are the engine is good, the 1100G were usually not abused all that often. Neglected maybe, but rarely abused. They are also very nice bikes to ride. Like any unused bike you can figure it will take a good part of $1000 to get it roadworthy.

if a suzuki touring machine is what you want this bike can be kept alive for eternity. that would look good with a matching trailer.
650 is half what it is worth -even if the engine smokes a little.
take cash and someone to help get it home. this is a steal and when it gets warm the previous owner is going to kick himself.SUZUKI , There is no substitute

sorry about the pics, you need standard internet explorer to view them. Firefox doesn't work. The motor and tranny are all fine i guess. The carbs need gone through and it needs a battery. The owner right now said he bought it and it ran and drove great. The float bowls were leaking though. Nothing a carb kit won't fix. He said he got laid off of his job and he needs the cash. He says since it won't start now, its just taking up space and he doesn't need it anymore. He was originally asking 1000 for it but he lowered it for meI'm probably gonna take off the wind jammer and the boxes. Make it look like a G model or and E model. I can't tell if that is the little glass oil gauge on the right side of the engine on that cover, or a port for a kick starter. Gotta look at a 1979 KZ1000 first though before i look at this. Sorry guys but the duck bill and the spoke wheels on the KZ1000 take the cake
That 1100 will definatly be concidered if the 1000 is not for me.
