    Oil Cooler on e-bay

I bought an oil cooler on ebay for 20 bucks, it looks pretty cool, except there is a round disc-like thing with a hole in the middle,it looks like a metal donut with 2 hoses coming out of it that run to cooler, where does this round thingy go? The seller says it fits my'82 GS750e.HELP!! I don't know how to download the pics of it.

From the description, it sounds like an old Yamaha factory cooler.

Does that metal donut have another two fittings?

If so, it appears to be a thermostat.

Nope. I don't know anymore than you. I was watching it on ebay, which is how I knew about it.
