Headlight Bucket Mystery
Does anyone know this part number, supposedly from a '78 GS750, "5181-22", its stamped on a headlight bucket that looks pretty big for a 7" headlight... -

Keep in mind that a bucket that holds a 7" light will be about 8" across.

This is what your headlight bucket should look like. It came on GS models from 1977 to 1980 including the 550, 750, 850 & 1000.

Not mine
Definately not mine. Its a Yamaha XS 6500 unit and it seems to have the right holes to make everything fit snug. I'm going to stick with it.
