What degree of rake does a GS1100SD have?

Now scroll down the left side again, look for "Suzuki GS1100E", click on it.
Now, in the right side of the screen, you will see the history of the 1100E. Scroll down to the bottom, you will see several lines that start with "More: ...". One of those says "More: GS1100E / GSX1100E in numbers (more specs)". Click on that and read through the specs.

The info is in the factory service manual listed under "specifications".
They list it in degrees and minuets (60 minuets = 1 degree).

Factory manual says "Caster" is 62 degrees. This is apparently referenced from the horizontal even though the convention is the vertical.
So to reference the vertical:
head stock angle is = 90-Caster = 90-62=28 degrees
Edit: (Sorry to double post Ed) Funny they list a different angle between EZ (28 degrees) and SD (28.5 degrees)Last edited by posplayr; 02-07-2010, 12:49 PM.
