GS450-550 Tank compatability

Does anyone know if a 550 tank would fit a 450? Thanks!

If you give us a picture of the underside of your 450 tank with appropriate measurements. Overall length and measurements from mounting points front and rear to each other. We might be able to help.
Also what type of 550 tank are you thinking of. An "L" model or the early type on the '77 to '79 models.

Compare the part numbers. If they are the same, they will fit. If not, some modification may be required.

I'm not sure about the L models but for the other bikes they won't swap over without heavy mods.
