    I got this piece....?

I know you guys are getting use to me asking really stupid questions, but I think this one is going to top all the others! First off...as a refresher...my bike is a 1981 450LX.....now for the stupid question.....I got this piece.....it's a black triangular shaped, has 3 holes in it for attaching it to something, on the underside of it, there are these 2 legs with an angle cut on them and this side of the piece has a honeycomb pattern to it....I have searched my Clymer manual, I have googled the part number and I searched the Bikebandit schematics with no luck....so I am asking you guys.....the Suzuki part number is 44500......can anyone tell me what this thing is and where it needs to go.....I have searched the bike over and see no place for it to bolt on.....I am clueless as to what to do with it......

Thanx for any help as usual....

    Anita

I think I solved the part (no phun intended ) mystery.

First off I think the part number is OEM#13370-44500.

I found that by going to ASK.COM and typing in suzuki part #44500.

I then went to a link they gave me

However that part has nothing to do with a gs450.

I also went to Alpha sports and looked at all the parts and numbers for the
1981 450LX and didn't find that part suffix anywhere.

That part number goes to a float valve.

Soooooooo either the part number is wrong somehow ORRRrrrrr
As everyone else has already said pics would be greatly appreciated.
