    gxsr rear set shifter pics

I need a couple of pics of how you fabbed the shifter side when using gsxr rear sets. Mine looks like I'm going to need to flip the shifter around & weld it. Not sure what year my parts are either. I know everybody approaches things differently. Bike is a 1980 gs1100.

Mine had a longer linkage so I was able to weld a plate where the subframe meets the main frame to bolt to. I did have to flip the Heim joint over or it contacted the countershaft cover. As a result I ended up with a GP shift pattern, 1st all the way up then down through the gears. This actually results in far fewer missed shifts.

That shifter linkage looks too long, may need some modification? In order to really get some ground/cornering clearance benefit out of rearsets you should move your pegs up and back.

Put a GSXR 1000 shifter on my bike like this.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly where the pegs will be mounted. I have to make a plate up, then play with different peg positions till I find the most comfortable one for me.

I follow this particular mod on the gsr so I have seen both your 1000 conversions. Thanks for the pics. If anyone has any from their 1100 that would give me a better idea of my conversion.

Any one had a chance to take a couple of pics of their 1100 set up?

Not an 1100 but I could snap a shot of my 700 set up. I need to take one of my bike with the fender painter red anyway. It'll probably be tonight before I have a chance to upload off the camera.

i will take pics of mine.
                The pegs + shifter+ brake pedal are off a gsxr1100 1991,
i have billet flat stock machined to screw into existing hole in the frame.
But the 2 lever required welding.
I will post pics this evening.
i have one or 2 pics on my album on my profile, but not close-up of the finished rear set.

I know you wanted 1100 pics but here is mine. I'll eventually trim up the mounting plate and make it go away. It took an attempt or two to get it positioned where I wanted it.
