    Oh yeah, chain problem solved. It just needed a lubing.
    Noise all gone, guess it was sticking.
    Chain is within slack specs.

      Chain- Cushdrive!

      Hi chain people,
      One thing that seems to get over looked in all this chain stuff, is the Cushdrive. Your rear sprocket is bolted to a hub that FLOATS on the rubbers inside your wheel. If these rubbers are not all the same thickness and height, your chain can not pull the rear sprocket evenly as it turns. If you have uneven wear on the rubbers you will get a host of chain tension problems. Take the wheel off and check those rubbers. I did this to my bike when I got it, and found the rubbers were not all the same. After fixing this I have 20mm slack all the way around, and the only time my chain needs adjusting is when I wear out and replace the back tire.
