Steve I just got your message will pm you after writing this. Thanks, I'll correct the relay wiring according to koolaid's specs. Also my voltage drop after the mod was due to the ground at the coils. When I grounded the meter up to the frame I got full voltage, so I'll rework the relay ground today.

If you do not feel comfortable doing your wiring, there are some good guys there in Indy that can help, but not sure if they would want to dirty their hands on a GPz. After all, it's not a GS.

I was just joshing. I am extremely comfortable with wiring, trust me (hence the winks, Brian understands). And I may allow bwringer the honor of riding it someday, IDK. He's dissed me twice on my offer to help remedy the paint disaster that is his cage.

          Me, too.

You think I would actually ride a couple of hours through the heart of Indiana just to wire the coils on a Kaw?

Actually, I have been know to do such a thing, so it's not really all that far-fetched.

            Hi Mr. johnhend,

I'm glad somebody noticed that the #30 pin goes to the 12v source and NOT ground. Here's all of the info I've collected for relay mods. You might find it interesting. Read this and you can make sure Mr. Steve does it correctly.

Gee, Mr. BassCliff, thanks for the vote of confidence.

Yes, I saw the little winky smiley and the big toothy grin. You really think I'd let an opportunity pass to razz right back?

By the way, no "indulgence" necessary. I think you are due for PENANCE.

From my other motorcycle hang-out spot.

Believe it or not, there's more to life than a GS.

No it's not the Wing board, either.
I got tired of their rants over a year ago. Some of their discussions would make our Off-Topic area look like Sunday School teacher training.

Wouldn't do you any good if it told you where it was, either.
