Add me to the list of stripped threads. I got back from a trip and put the old girl(78 GS 750) on the center stand before going to bed. Next day, I take a look at the oil, not within sight of the glass. I pour about half a quart and its now half way between E and F. I look down and theirs a puddle of oil about the size of a $1 coin. I get a socket to tighten it by hand and then I get the ratchet handle to do the rest slightly and it never tightens up fully.

So yeah, I went out and got the same plug pictured above, that is the correct one to remedy the problem right? Hoping so!
