Can and how to remove carb mixture screw blanks GS450T
Hi, I need to adjust my air flow screws on my 1982 GS450T carbs, the location is blanked, will there be a srew under blank, how do I remove blank, I tried to gentley chisel blank out but left it alone until I get some info from you guys. Thanks. Darren.Tags: None

Use a course thread sheet metal screw to remove them. Thread the screw in and pull out with pliers. You can also carefully drill them out.

Use a 1/16" drill through the center of that cap. Be aware that the cap is about 1/8" thick, then there is about 1/8" gap before the screw, so drill carefully. When you have a hole, insert a drywall screw, twist it all out.
