can anyone tell me where these go exactly?

Sorry guys, stupid question, I removed the clutch cover off of a 1977 gs 750 and these two pieces popped out. I can't figure out for the life of me where they go. Can anyone please tell me.

    Thanks!

Those are for the mid engine mounts, one on each side, the bolt goes through the frame, engine and screws into those.
Are you saying they were INSIDE the clutch cover?

Is there anywhere I can get a picture of that? I'm kind of a newbie. Thanks!

They are the nuts that hold the engine mount screws located on the bottom of the engine, about midpoint across the crankcase (one each side).

I PMed you with very detailed directions.. Like Ed said they are engine mounts..NOT supposed to be INSIDE the clutch compartment......while the cover is off i recommend checking the hub nut on the clutch for tightness. have to bend up that locking tab on the retainer washer to do this but worth it now while the cover is off.
