    Can't find "DU" rings!

Does anyone know where to purchase new Anti-Friction "DU" rings for front forks?
I'm doing a rebuild on a pair of (according to the ebay seller) '78 GS750 forks and need to replace the "DU" rings.
However, according to the micro-fiches at Bike Bandit.com there are no "DU" rings on '77-'79 GS750 forks.

    Edit:
According to the Bike Bandit parts list, the first GS750 with the "DU" rings is the 1980 GS750 ET and LT.
However, both of these forks are Leading Axle forks whereas mine are straight.

    Will these work?
    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Oddly enough, I was just reading that section of my manual (granted, this is a GS550). According to this manual, Suzuki did not start using the DU rings until model year 1980. That seems to match what you're seeing in the fiches as well.

They are not available in any case far as I know... They don't tend to wear out in my experience.

By the way... couldn't put a hand on that MC, sorry!

I have one from an SV650 that would work but looks completely different. Adjustable lever, round reservoir that you'd have to mount etc.

No worry's Dan, thanks for tryin! I'll just keep hunting e-bay.

Bike Bandit has DU rings from '80 and up available.
Does anyone know if they'll fit my forks?
I'm assuming a 1980 GS750 has 35mm forks, they're just leading axle which is why not many people use them when upgrading.... correct?

Yeah... my manual only mentions them being used on the TSCC models but they're still not listed on Bike Bandit's parts list.

Don't quote me on this but I think they're out of stock with no more coming but I've been wrong before!!

If there is no play in the fork then you likely don't need them.
